We urge all visitors to Canada, new Immigrants, skilled workers, SuperVisa holders, and international students to purchase medical insurance to cover the high costs that can be associated with unexpected accidents or sickness during your stay in Canada. 

It is strongly recommended to purchase Emergency Medical Insurance before travelling in order to have coverage effective from the date of arrival, for both accidental and natural sicknesses, as well as to cover expenses during your transit period.

Visitors' Medical Insurance Covers:

  • Emergency treatment provided by a physician and standard hospital ward accommodation costs. Medical, hospital, or outpatient services. Diagnostic treatment like x-rays, ultrasounds, and lab tests.

  • Prescription drugs or medication.

  • Licensed ambulance services for emergency transportation 

  • Private duty registered nursing or licensed home care providers and rental of crutches, hospital beds, splints, trusses, braces, or other prosthetic appliances following an emergency insured services.

  • Prescribed treatment provided by a health care practitioner.

  • Treatment to natural teeth and repairs to dentures or other devices necessitated by an accident.

  • Non-accidental Emergency treatment to natural teeth (excluding fillings).

  • Emergency return home costs. In case of loss of life, cost of burial, transportation to country of origin, preparation of legal documentation, and cost of burial within Canada or USA.

  • Side trips to any country other than country of origin.

  • Payment options for SuperVisa and visitor visa holders - premiums for $100K coverage for a period of 1-2 years can be paid on a monthly basis to reduce the burden of advance annual payments. 

  • Those planing to stay more than 1 year, may receive 2-year plans at existing rate and medical conditions.
